  • Cut a layout stick and mark it at 'one-shingle-length' then 1", 1" etc. (or whatever the reveal will be)

  • Transfer the layout marks to the Porch Roof on both edges

  • connect the dots

  • Another layout stick marked the same (the first one is too short for the Gazebo Roofs).  Transfer the marks to the edges of the Gazebo Roofs... connect the dots

  • Mark the peak of the Gazebo on the layout stick

  • Chop the bottom edge of the layout stick so it is short enough to fit the back edges of the Gazebo Roof - just above the second line.  Use the mark at the peak to line up the layout stick on the Gazebo Roof

  • The Shingle Guidelines are ready

  • When a pair of corner shingles is angled correctly, the outside edges are straight up-and-down the roof.  Shingle the whole Gazebo Roof, then jump to "tutorials (see the 'breadcrumbs' path above)/Shingle a Gazebo Porch" picture #20
