Q: How do you straighten the edge of shingles on the roof?

A: Put extra glue for the last shingles in each course, and let the glue dry completely, even over night. Then sand the edge of the shingled roof with 100 grit sandpaper wrapped on a stick. Sand from outside to inside so the shingles won't be pulled up by the force, and be gentle. Sand until the edge of the shingles lines up with the edge of the roof.
